"As a former
travel professional
who planned golf trips for very demanding customers all over
the world, I have high expectations when it comes to outside assistance with any
of my trip planning.  Christine was phenomenal to work with when planning
my husband's
birthday vacation —
always available, prompt responses to e-mails or questions that needed research, and even mailing
helpful information intended to
enhance our vacation without being asked.
I would recommend Christine's services
to any traveler looking for exceptional
customer service."

Local Couple Cruises Alaska
Emily Young,
Staff Writer

Sunday Eagle-Tribune, August 12, 2007
Who: John and Julia Szelest of Atkinson, N.H.
Where: A 12-day Alaskan cruise aboard the Diamond Princess. They spent four days based on land, staying in Princess lodges and five-star hotels. They hit Fairbanks, Denali National Park and Preserve, and Anchorage via a deluxe coach bus and a glass-domed rail car on the Alaska Railway. While
staying at the Mount McKinley Wilderness Lodge, the couple saw a black bear slowly walking around the lodge's parking lot. Their "floating resort" then took them around Alaska's inside passage for seven days. "We enjoyed all the ports of call. Walking around the towns, meeting the locals and taking it all in. At one of the ports, we went on a whale-watch boat ride," John said of the ports Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
Dining options: "We have cruised before. However, this was our first cruise using the 'personal choice' anytime dining. You have your meals whenever and wherever you want. It was very accommodating," John said.
Best bit: Denali National Park. "We wish we had been able to stay another day or two. ... We saw moose, dall sheep and the Alaska state bird, ptarmigan," John said. "The views we had of Mount McKinley were breathtaking and crystal clear."
Advice to future travelers: "Because we traveled in mid-May, before Alaska's peak season, we ended up with a very nice upgrade to a mid-ship balcony cabin," John said. "Also, our cruise fare ended up being drastically reduced a few months before we sailed, so we had that added savings
 ."
